Our Commitment to Safety
We are a labour-only subcontractor, which means our people work on your site, under your safety program, alongside your other trades. That arrangement only works if the crew we send already knows what it is doing before they walk through the gate.

A general contractor carries the responsibility for what happens on site. When you bring in a labour-only subtrade, you are trusting that the crew arriving will not become a problem you have to manage — that they show up with their PPE, understand the hazards of their own trade, and follow the program you already have in place.
That is the standard we hold ourselves to. Our crews are trained before they mobilise, not after. They attend your orientation, sign into your system, and work to your site-specific plan. If something on site is unsafe, they stop and raise it with your superintendent rather than working around it and hoping nobody notices.
Drywall, insulation and ceiling work carries its own particular risks: working at height off scaffolds and ladders, respirable dust and silica from sanding and cutting, and overhead work in occupied or partially occupied buildings. Those are the hazards we train hardest against because those are the ones our people actually meet.

Documented before we mobilise
The two things every prequalification package asks for. We provide both up front so your paperwork is closed out before the crew arrives.
WSIB Insurance
Workplace Safety and Insurance Board coverage in good standing for our crews. A clearance certificate can be issued to you directly through the WSIB, confirming our account is current before we set foot on your site.
Ask us for a clearance certificate with your purchase order and we will arrange it.
General Liability Insurance
Commercial general liability coverage carried on our own policy. We can provide a certificate of insurance naming your company as required by your contract documents.
Ask us for a certificate of insurance and we will have our broker issue it.
Certified training
What every crew member carries
Training is completed before a worker is assigned to a job, not scheduled around it. Records are kept on file and can be produced for your safety officer.
Working at Heights
Crew working above the minimum height threshold hold current Working at Heights training, the program Ontario requires before anyone goes up on a project site.
Fall Protection
Harness inspection, anchor point selection, lanyard and lifeline use, and rescue planning. Covered as practical training, not just a classroom sign-off.
WHMIS & Hazard Communication
WHMIS 2015 training on labels, pictograms and safety data sheets. Compounds, sealants and adhesives all carry hazards worth knowing before the lid comes off.
First Aid & CPR
Certified first aid and CPR on the crew, so there is someone who can act in the minutes before help arrives rather than standing by.
Confined Space Awareness
Awareness-level training so crew recognise a confined space, understand why entry is controlled, and know to stop and escalate rather than proceed.
Fire Safety
Extinguisher use, hot work awareness, evacuation routes and muster points. Reviewed against your site's fire safety plan at orientation.
General Workplace Safety
Every crew member receives workplace safety training covering worker rights and duties, hazard reporting, and the right to refuse unsafe work.

Crew arrive with their own personal protective equipment and wear it for the duration of the shift. Full list below.
Site-Specific Safety Plans
Before mobilising we review your site safety plan, hazard assessments and orientation requirements, then work to your program rather than around it.
Daily Briefings & Toolbox Talks
A short talk at the start of each shift covering the day's tasks, the hazards attached to them, and anything that changed on site overnight.
Dust Control & Silica Prevention
Drywall sanding and cutting generates respirable dust and silica. We use dust-controlled sanders, vacuum extraction and respiratory protection to keep exposure down.
Scaffolding Safety
Inspection before use, proper access, guardrails and toe boards in place, and loads kept within rating. Crew do not work off a scaffold that has not been checked.
Ladder Safety
Correct ladder for the task, set at the right angle, footed and secured, with three points of contact maintained. The most routine hazard on any interior job.
