Suspended ceiling installation for general contractors. You supply the grid, wire and tile. We supply the crew that makes the ceiling line up.
What we do
The service
A suspended ceiling is the most visible finish in a commercial space and the one an owner notices first on a walk-through. If the field is off-centre, the grid dips, or the tile cuts around the diffusers are ragged, no amount of good work below it will make up the difference.
We set out from the reflected ceiling plan and centre the field so the room does not end up with a sliver tile against a feature wall. Layout gets confirmed with your superintendent before any wire goes up. Grid is laser-set and checked as we go, then tile is cut in tight around lights, diffusers, sprinklers and speakers.
Labour only: you supply the grid system, hanger wire and acoustic tile to your specified product. We bring the crew, the lasers and the tools, and we schedule the final tile drop after the other trades are clear so your finished ceiling stays finished.

- Main tee and cross tee layout to the RCP
- Hanger wire, anchors and seismic clips
- Perimeter wall angle and shadow moulding
- 15/16" and 9/16" grid systems
- Acoustic tile set and cut-in

- Grid re-work and re-levelling

The grid lines up with the room

Dead level across the whole field
Laser-set and checked as the grid goes in. A ceiling that dips is the first thing an owner spots and the last thing you want to rehang.
Cuts that fit the mechanical
Lights, diffusers, sprinklers and speakers all have to land in the tile. We coordinate with the trades above the grid so the penetrations are clean rather than fudged.
We come back for the tile drop
Grid goes in early so other trades can work above it, and tile goes in late once they are clear. Your finished ceiling stays finished.
No material markup in our number
You buy the grid, wire and tile at your rate. Our price is the installation labour, nothing more.
