Batt insulation crews

Friction-fit batt, poly vapour barrier and acoustic assemblies installed to the detail on the drawing. You supply the batt and the poly. We supply the crew that fits it tight, with no gaps and no compression.

Labour only — materials provided by GC

What’s included

Scope we cover

  • Wall cavity batt — thermal and acoustic
  • Ceiling and floor-assembly batt
  • Sound batt in demising and corridor walls
  • Poly vapour barrier, lapped and sealed
  • Acoustic sealant at plates and penetrations
  • Cavity fill around boxes, conduit and piping
  • Safing and stuffing at deck and slab edges
  • Rim joist and header insulation
  • Batt supports and mechanical fastening
  • Site clean-down and offcut removal

Anything outside this list, ask — if it’s labour, it’s usually a yes.

Why GCs hire us

What you actually get

01 / Fit

Tight cavities, no compression

Batt cut to fit and friction-held, not jammed or stretched. Compressed batt loses its rating — and inspectors know it when they see it.

02 / Barrier

Poly that actually seals

Lapped at studs, sealed at every penetration and taped at the joints. The barrier is only as good as its worst detail, so we treat all of them the same.

03 / Acoustics

Sound walls built to perform

Demising and corridor assemblies are where acoustic complaints come from. We fill the cavity properly and seal the perimeter so the STC on paper survives contact with the site.

04 / Inspection

Ready when the inspector walks

We work to pass first time. If something on the drawing won’t hold up to inspection, you hear about it while it’s still cheap to fix.

Add insulation photos here. Tight cavity fills and clean poly laps are the shots that prove the workmanship.
