Batt Insulation — Labour Only
Batt and vapour barrier installation for general contractors. You supply the batt and the poly. We supply the crew that fits it tight, with no gaps and no compression.
What we do
The service
Batt insulation looks like the simplest trade on the job and is the one most often done badly. Compressed batt loses its rated value, gaps at the top plate undo the assembly, and a vapour barrier with unsealed penetrations is barely a barrier at all. Inspectors know it when they see it, and so do we.
Our crews cut batt to fit the cavity and friction-hold it in place, work it in properly around boxes, conduit and piping, then lap and seal the poly at every stud, plate and penetration. Acoustic assemblies in demising and corridor walls get the same treatment, because that is where the sound complaints come from.
Labour only: you order the batt and the poly to your schedule and to your specified R-value. We bring the crew, the knives and the staplers, and we work to whatever assembly is drawn.

What you actually get
Tight cavities, no compression
Batt cut to fit and friction-held, never jammed or stretched. Compressed batt does not deliver its rated value and an inspector will call it.
Poly that actually seals
Lapped at the studs, sealed at every penetration and taped at the joints. A barrier is only as good as its worst detail, so all of them get treated the same.
Sound walls that perform
Demising and corridor assemblies get the cavity filled properly and the perimeter sealed, so the STC rating on paper survives contact with the site.
Ready when the inspector walks
We work to pass first time. If something on the drawing will not hold up to inspection, you hear about it while it is still cheap to fix.
No material markup in our number
You order the batt and poly at your rate. Our price covers the installation labour only, so the cost is transparent.
